Monday October 5, 2026 12:00pm - Thursday October 8, 2026 6:00pm EDT
E-resources never stop changing, and serials never stop arriving. So, how do you manage both? Drawing from practical experience, this session examines the unique challenge of balancing two distinct workflows: the digital demands of e-resource management and the physical realities of serials processing. In this short session, we'll explore practical strategies for navigating both responsibilities, including identifying annual cycles, anticipating busy seasons, time-blocking tasks, communicating workload changes to colleagues, and adapting to shifting priorities. Most importantly, the session emphasizes the value of flexibility and self-compassion when juggling competing responsibilities.
